Participation constitutes the entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. The Surf & Turn ("Promo") will begin at 12:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on November 1,2021 ("Promo Start Date") and end at 11:59 PM EDT on December 31, 2021 ("Promo Period"). Promo is managed by the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (“USA”) a Tennessee non-profit corporation located at 4800 Northfield Lane, Spring Hill, TN 37174. Prizing is supplied courtesy of the USA.

Eligibility: Promo entry is open to all USA members and active and retired AFL-CIO members who are in good standing with their International Union Affiliate as of the time of the “Promo Period”. All entrants must be 18 years of age or older as of “Promo Start Date.” Employees, board members, officers and directors of the USA and Suppliers, their affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, and vendors (collectively including USA, “Promo Entities”), their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouses) and persons living in the same household (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in the Promo. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. 

How To Enter:

No Purchase Necessary to Enter. Complete a short entry form on the USA promo page www.unionsweepstake.com containing name, address, valid email address, phone number, and union/local.

All entries will become the property of the USA. By participating, you consent for the USA to obtain, use, and transfer your name, address, and other information for the sole purpose of administering this Promo. Any attempt by any participant to obtain additional entries beyond the limit by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified.

Internet Limitations of Liability: If for any reason this Promo is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the USA which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promo, the USA reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promo in whole or in part, at any time, without notice and award the prizes using all non-suspect eligible entries received as of this termination date. USA assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The USA is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by USA on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Promo or downloading any materials in this Promo. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMO IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE USA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON (S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

No responsibility is assumed by USA or Suppliers for canceled, delayed, suspended, shortened or rescheduled events. The Event and Event activities are as organized and scheduled by the Event organizer and are subject to weather, safety, and other similar limitations and restrictions as determined by the Event organizer in its sole discretion, which may result in limitation of prize (for example, weather may reduce the number and hours of or activities at the Event); in such event, no cash or other consideration will be awarded for the prize limitation. The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Prize is fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000).

   

Unused/unclaimed components of the prize shall be forfeited and have no redeemable cash value. Prize package is not exchangeable, transferable, or redeemable for cash. There are no substitutions unless specified by the USA. 

The prize is awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). 

By accepting the prize, prize winner and guest agree to release Promo Entities from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by entering the promotion or for damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of prize awarded, or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to and from any prize-related activity. 

Released Parties are not responsible for any travel delays or difficulty, lost, stolen or damaged baggage, or for any cancellation of any of the scheduled activities or events. If travel delays or difficulty prevent arrival in time for any and all elements of “Event”, or any of the scheduled activities are cancelled, Released Parties are not responsible for awarding any compensation in lieu thereof.  

Drawing and Notification: The winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received, in a random drawing conducted on or about DATE by the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this Promo. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Potential winner(s) will be notified by email. 

Prize Conditions: Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes associated with the receipt of any prize. If Retail Prize Value is greater than $599.99, winner must complete a W-9 for tax reporting purposes. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Promo. The winner’s entry and acceptance of the prize offered constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for the USA to use said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state), in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation.

Terms & Conditions: This Promo is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the USA and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Promo or these Official Rules. Winners and entrants also agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance, Carhartt, Bass Pro Shops and their agencies and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and successor companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents (hereinafter the "Released Parties") from and against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in any part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize offered, or participation in this Promo. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the Promo mechanics and/or implementation will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. 

Released Parties shall not be liable to any winner or any other person for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof by reason of any acts of God, any actions, regulations, orders, or requests by any governmental entity, equipment failure, terrorist acts, war, fire, unusually severe weather, embargo, labor dispute or strike, labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, or any other cause. This Promo is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Promo constitutes each winner’s consent to USA’s (and its designees’, successors’ and assigns’) use of winner’s name, biography, likeness, voice, photographs, video, opinions, statements, hometown, state and country for promotional purposes in any manner or media (including, without limitation, online), worldwide, in perpetuity, and without further payment, consideration, notice, attribution, review or consent.
